Our Trump International Beach Resort team understands the seriousness of the risks associated with the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19. Please rest assured that we are taking all necessary precautions to maintain a healthy environment. In addition to our high standards of care we take with our property and our guest experience, Resort staff members are taking additional measures to ensure that guest service areas are regularly disinfected, as outlined below. Our Employees are regularly informed of developments and precautions recommended by the CDC and we encourage guests to stay informed as well. At Trump International Beach Resort, we observe and enforce all Covid-19 policies and procedures with our staff to safely service our guest. We also encourage our guests to abide by the social distancing guidelines and to wear masks in all indoor areas, elevators, and group gatherings.

COVID FAQs:

1. What actions have been implemented to assure both employee and guest safety?

Trump International Beach Resort has created an integral, cross-functional team to develop and manage the resort’s preparedness and response plan to COVID-19. All associates have participated in extensive training on this plan and will continue to receive ongoing education.

Highlights of new initiatives resulting from the plan include:

  • Masks are not required for all indoor employees and vendors while on property; however it is encouraged that mask use continues for guests, employees or vendors who: suffer from an underlying medical condition or suppressed immune system, have not been fully vaccinated, or, anyone who may feel more comfortable wearing them for protection.
  • Team members are provided individual containers of hand sanitizer.
  • Additional hand sanitizer dispensers are installed on each floor within the service area to maintain a healthy environment.

2. What new preventive measures will guests see and experience upon arrival?

  • Guests are encouraged to bring their own personal protective items.
  • Surface shields, or clear table-top barriers, are now located at guest areas such as the front desk, the gift shop, the pool and beach welcome desk, restaurant host stands, the spa front desk, the beach hut, the valet cashier area, the concierge desk and the security stand.
  • Automatic hand sanitizer dispensers and hand wipes have been added to public areas, including the lobby, the lobby restrooms near the ATM, Neomi’s Grill, the pool and beach welcome desk by elevators on all guest room floors.
  • Signage and stanchions have been placed throughout the resort to encourage guests’ social distancing while waiting on services.
  • Elevator occupancy has been reduced to two guests per car; families with children under 12 may ride together (up to four).
  • Pool and beach chairs have been spaced to encourage social distancing.
  • Guests are encouraged to download the resort’s Go Hotel Life app to utilize online ordering from the convenience of their own mobile device.

3. What are the resort’s housekeeping procedures?

As a AAA Four Diamond luxury resort, Trump International Beach Resort has always exceeded industry standards for hygiene and cleanliness and has increased its housekeeping procedures to further ensure the safety of guests and team members.

In order to adhere to CDC guidelines and to assure the safety and wellbeing of both our guests and colleagues daily cleaning service will not be automatically provided during your stay. If housekeeping service is needed, it needs to be requested 24 hours in advance.

These added measures include:

  • In all areas of the resort, extra cleaning attention is given to frequently touched items, such as doorknobs and elevator buttons.
  • In guest rooms, frequently touched items such as telephones and light switches are sanitized.

4. Which areas and services are temporarily closed or suspended at this time?

  • Arcade Room is open. Additionally, the recreational team will be offering safe, family-friendly programming that maintains social distancing.

5. How are groups and social events affected?

The group sales and catering teams have put together a comprehensive plan of new processes and procedures to ensure the safety of on-site meetings and events. Highlights of these new initiatives include the following; planners are encouraged to contact the sales team for a full detailed listing:

  • New floor plans have been implemented to allow for physical distancing between attendees based on CDC and government recommendations; events are now limited to 50 percent of total capacity per space.
  • Self-serve buffets have been suspended and replaced with individually plated and served dining.
  • Rather than self-service, coffee and other break items are attended and served by a server.
  • All linen, equipment and meeting amenities are replaced or disinfected before and after each use.
  • Instead of water carafes on meeting tables, individual bottled water is available.
  • Sanitizer wipe stations are placed outside of the elevators during scheduled functions.

6. How has Aquanox Spa and the resort Fitness Center adapted to new conditions?

We are committed to the relaxation, health and safety of our guests. Our team has implemented new health and safety procedures for Aquanox Spa both for guest and team member safety. Protocols for our spa and fitness center include:

  • Spa therapist will continue to wear masks during treatment sessions.
  • Team will continue to follow and update guidelines as recommended by the CDC, which may change and update
  • Spa appointment times are staggered to allow for enhanced sanitation procedures before and after each treatment.
  • Guests and employees are reminded to wash hands and use hand sanitizer throughout the time spent in the spa. Hand sanitizer is readily available.
